The Jewish Fabulous is an artistic and educational resource project dedicated to providing queer Jews pathways to their textual ancestors. This resource celebrates and expands on their stories by continuing the centuries-long tradition of radically interpreting Jewish sacred texts through joyously and purposefully reading queerness into them.

This project is in two parts: The artistic component will be a card deck and corresponding artbook of fabulous figures from across Jewish textual tradition who are queer, subversive, transgressive, or all of the above! The educational component will be an online archive of living source sheets that includes the original source text and relevant commentary, midrash, and interpretation.
